Zanin Grappa di Amarone Invecchiata is a refined Italian aged grappa This expression reflects traditional distillation and careful oak ageing, giving the spirit both depth and character. After distillation in traditional copper pot stills, this grappa is aged for at least 9–12 months in oak barrels, allowing it to develop a rich amber colour with golden reflections and complex aromatic layers not found in unaged grappas.
On the nose, Zanin’s Amarone Invecchiata delivers intense aromas of fruit preserves and sweet tobacco, with underlying hints of red fruit and spice. Its flavour is smooth and velvety, marrying the concentrated character of Amarone grape pomace with soft, rounded oak influence, producing a balanced palate enriched by nuances of ripe red fruit, gentle tannins and warm wood spice. The finish is harmonious and pleasantly long, making it an expressive choice for lovers of aged spirits.
Enjoy neat in a tulip glass at room temperature or slightly cooled, allowing its aromatic complexity to shine. Perfect as a digestif after a rich meal, it also pairs well with dark chocolate, aged cheeses or a fine espresso, or simply savoured slowly on its own to appreciate its nuanced character and Italian heritage.
