The blend makes use of the unique symmetry between the tannic weight and drive of Cabernet Sauvignon, and the soft fleshy characteristics of Merlot. The result is a wine that has distinctive dark berry, plum and cassis aromas, and a palate displaying red berry and plum characters. A perfect accompaniment with red pasta, antipasti or roast beef.

Attractive when young, it will also reward cellar maturation for several years. A wine to enjoy with braised porterhouse steak with mushrooms or vintage cheese.

Three generations of family winemaking ensure that the Calabria Bros know great wine, Ancient low yielding Shiraz vineyards, hand plunged in historic open concrete fermenters, careful ageing in the best oak barriques and opulent intense essence of Shiraz. Purple black with a red cherry nose, the palate is rich and full bodied with spicy vanillin oak and a long fine grained tannin finish.

Three generations of family winemaking ensure that the Calabria Bros know great wine. Fruit was harvested from a single vineyard within the Eden Valley, part of the Barossa region. Much care and attention, ensuring this wine exhibits the true hallmarks of Eden Valley Riesling. Medium straw with green hues, fragrant with intense aromas of kaffir lime leaf, citrus blossoms and lime pith. A vibrant palate of juicy lime fresh, flinty acid drive and lengthy persistence.

The Riverina has established a reputation for producing many of the finest examples of Botrytist wine in the world. This wine was crafter under the watchful eye of winemaker Bill Calabria. Possessing a soft lemon/lime, bouquet with honeyed complexity. This wine would be a fitting conclusion to any meal or enjoyed on its own slightly chilled as an aperitif.

In this exclusive blend, Shiraz adds dark smoky oak and texture while Carignan - a red grape variety of Spanish origin - brings rich volume and energy. Crafted with longevity, Shiraz Carignan is enjoyable now and will continue to develop over the next five to ten years.
