THE MACALLAN
The ‘mac’ of The Macallan likely comes from the Gaelic magh, which translates to ‘fertile ground.’ The ‘ellan’ refers to an Irish-born monk named St. Fillan who spent time in Scotland spreading Christianity in the eighth century.

A delicious single malt whisky from Macallan’s Quest Collection, Terra is a complex whisky with a distinctive flavour of toffee, dried fruits and rich, woody spices. Aged exclusively in first-fill sherry casks, Terra has a golden amber colour, and aromas of dried fruits, citrusy lemon and toffee. The palate brings flavours of ripening apple and ginger, and finishes with sweet dried fruits and woody spices.
THE MACALLAN RARE CASK BLACK 70CL

A very limited-edition smoky release from Macallan, Rare Cask Black is a marriage of around 100 predominently sherry-seasoned casks. Made using peated whisky – very rarely produced at the distillery – this has notes of dried fruit, nutmeg, ginger and smoke.
THE MACALLAN RARE CASK BATCH NO.1 2019 RELEASE

This is the first batch of Macallan Rare Cask single malt released in 2019! In 2018, Macallan started to release its Rare Cask expression in batches, with four batches planned for release in 2019. Each batch is a vatting of 50 sherry butts, showing off the distillery's history of excellent sherried expressions.
