A classic and characterful expression from Château Croizet‑Bages2017 reflects the distinctive gravel-rich terroir of Pauillac on the Left Bank of Bordeaux. As a Cinquième Cru Classé (Fifth Growth) in the historic 1855 classification, this wine showcases Pauillac’s signature blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc, crafted with balance and elegant structure.

Delightful notes of ripe blackcurrant, plum and cherry form the core of the aromatic profile, complemented by nuances of cedar, tobacco and subtle spice. Medium-to-full body with polished tannins and refreshing acidity lends both accessibility and depth, making the 2017 vintage enjoyable now and rewarding with a little additional aging in bottle. It’s a classic Pauillac that combines both heritage and approachability for lovers of Bordeaux Left Bank wines.

Food Pairing: Pair with herb-crusted beef, roasted lamb, grilled steak, venison or aged hard cheeses to bring out its fruit and savory layers.
