A vibrant and expressive introduction to the celebrated terroir of Saint‑Julien on the Left Bank of Bordeaux, Duluc de Branaire-Ducru 2019 is the refined second wine of the historic Château Branaire‑Ducru. Crafted with the estate’s signature emphasis on fruit, freshness and finesse, this vintage delivers an approachable yet complex expression of classic Bordeaux style.
A blend dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon with generous Merlot and hints of Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc, the 2019 vintage opens with expressive notes of ripe red and black fruits—think cassis, black cherry and plum—lifted by spicy touches of tobacco, cedar and subtle mint.
On the palate it’s medium-bodied with supple tannins and well-judged balance, offering both early drinking pleasure and enough structure for short-term cellaring.
Food Pairing: Perfect alongside grilled lamb chops, roasted beef, herb-crusted duck or rich stews.
